How does it work? Meta, Google and YouTube Ads

  1. You book a complimentary 30 minute zoom call where we share screen and I look over the setup in your Meta Ads account
  2. You are on-boarded as a client with my standard agreement of services
  3. You pay an initial invoice of $155 and then receive the file showing the setup advised (this is not generic but it based on your individual needs as seen during step 1)
  4. You give me access to be able to view the Meta ad account so I can follow the progress
  5. Once you have completed the setup we meet via zoom. Cost $60 Time 1 hour
  6. Then we meet as often as needed to discuss how the ads are progressing and I advise on changes needed to optimise the account, the website or emails. Cost $60/hr  or part thereof in minimum increments of 30 mins
  7. Rinse and repeat step 6 for as often as you need in intervals that suit your budget

Note:  I will be watching the account and providing quick messeger comments or emails if I see something that needs addressing.  I also usually send a message once the account first goes live with initial results. 

Meta Ads Case Study Results


An ecommerce store owner wanted to learn how to do Meta Ads herself but was unsure about the setup and budget required. She did not want to hire an agency for a full done for you process.

Ads were started on 1st December 2023 and the following results were seen as at 19th March 2024.

Over time it became apparent that more than just the Meta Ads needed tweaking and very soon these consulting sessions became about the Meta paid and organic accounts, other social media accounts, CRO on the website, SEO on the website and the setup of flows and campaigns in Klaviyo.

  • Budget was mostly $5 per day per ad set however pre-christmas for a short period budget was bumped to $30 a day to test result

  • Cost per click (all): 34 cents each
  • Click through rate (all): 3.85%
  • Unique click through rate (link click): 5.55%
  • Cost per unique link click: 64 cents each
  • Instagram profile visits: 352
  • Page engagement: 23,291
  • Post engagement: 23,290
  • Landing Page visits: 5,406
  • Cost per landing page visit: 46 cents each

Takeaway Messages:

  • Budget was kept super low
  • Nearly 187,880 times in that period the ads were on screen
  • Amount spent: $2,472.35 (13 cents per impression)
  • Unique click through rate (link click): was is fairly high in this busy time of year and has improved with ad optimisation
  • 352 People visited the Instagram profile as a result of the ads
  • Nearly 23,000 people engaged with the page
  • 5,406 people went to the product page on the website at a cost of only 46 cents each
  • Excellent learning on copy, creatives and headlines to use was gained so that optimisation of the ads, social media content, website and emails could be undertaken
  • Website, email marketing and social media marketing were improved

Cost to the client:

Ad spend: $2,472.35 Plus management fees of $467.50 (average of $33 a week since we started).
